The New York-based neuromedicines company said the event is timed ahead of its anticipated topline Phase 3 data readout for LB-102, its lead candidate targeting schizophrenia.
The program will feature University of Toronto psychiatrist Roger S. McIntyre, MD, FRCPC, a recognized researcher in brain disorders, alongside the company's full executive leadership team. LB Pharmaceuticals describes its mission as developing therapies that address multiple dimensions of underserved brain disorders. Schizophrenia, a condition affecting millions of Americans, remains an area of significant unmet medical need, with existing treatments often falling short on negative symptoms and cognitive deficits — dimensions the company has indicated LB-102 is designed to address.
The dual in-person and virtual format signals the company's intent to reach both institutional investors and a broader audience ahead of a data milestone that could prove pivotal for its pipeline and commercial trajectory. No financial guidance or updated clinical timelines were disclosed in connection with the event announcement.
