Ownwell, RentRedi Team Up to Cut Landlord Property Tax Bills
Ownwell's savings-or-free tax appeal service is now available to RentRedi's landlord community through a new partnership announced Tuesday.
Property tax management firm Ownwell has joined forces with rental property platform RentRedi to give landlords access to a no-upfront-cost property tax appeal service, the companies announced Sept. 30 in Austin, Texas.
Under the arrangement, RentRedi's landlord users can tap Ownwell's savings-or-free model, meaning clients pay only if Ownwell successfully reduces their property tax assessment — a structure designed to lower the financial barrier for independent and small-portfolio landlords who may lack the resources to challenge assessments on their own.

The partnership connects two platforms that together serve a broad segment of the residential rental market. RentRedi provides property management tools covering rent collection, tenant screening and maintenance tracking, while Ownwell specializes in identifying over-assessed properties and managing the appeal process on behalf of owners.
Property taxes represent one of the largest fixed operating costs for rental property owners, and successful appeals can directly affect net operating income. By bundling access to Ownwell's service within the RentRedi ecosystem, the deal positions both companies to deepen their value proposition to do-it-yourself landlords navigating rising municipal assessments across many U.S. markets.
